Project Description:  The fabrication and installation of a new bridge over Saltpan Creek to support power cables. The bridge utilised the headstocks for the existing water pipes for support.

Engineering: The bridges are fabricated from steel rectangular hollow sections and were hot dipped galvanised. At the supporting headstocks saddles had to be designed for the support of the trusses whilst satisfying clearance requirements for the water pipes. Provision was made in the bearings for thermal movement whilst providing lateral restraint to resist wind and earthquake loads.
