The client and owner enlarged the existing centre with the addition of extra retail space on a new first floor, the construction of a new two storey office building and a new suspended carpark deck. Alterations were also made to the existing Coles store.

MEC were engaged as the structural engineers for this project in September 2004. The most difficult part of the project was dealing with the interface between the new buildings and the existing Coles building. The project was otherwise straightforward with reinforced concrete being employed for most suspended floors. Some prestressing was introduced for longer span band beams with large cantilevers. The carpark deck was changed to post-tensioned under a design and construct contract.
