Design Engineer for Post Tensioned Slabs: MEC
Project Description: New office building constructed by Multiplex incorporating post-tensioned band beam and slab floors.
MEC’s role: MEC were engaged by Australian Prestressing Services, the subcontractor to Multiplex for the post tensioning to the floor slabs, to undertake the design and documentation of the post tensioning and bar reinforcement.
We are consulting engineers providing structural engineering services, maritime engineering services and civil engineering services. Our structural engineering services encompass a wide range of building types including residential, office, educational, industrial and public buildings. Our maritime engineering services encompass jetties, wharves and seawalls. Our civil engineering services encompass earthworks, stormwater and sewer drainage, catchment studies and road pavements. We are the developers of MacroSpan, a lightweight structural system for long span roofs and demountable structures.
